Margarita Hotels

There are plenty of Margarita hotels which could make the decision quite difficult. Margarita Island is a tourist destination with a large hotel infrastructure as good as the more well-known island in the Caribbean. In Porlamar you find double room with air condition from $20. The Porlamar is the capital city of the island and this city is in an expansion and there is gradually built more hotels.

The hotel-complexes along the beaches become more and more expensive where the prices begin from about $50. The all-inclusive hotels are dominating on the island but there are many good alternatives where the food is not included at many hotels.

The prices at a double room at the Playa El Agua with all-inclusive at a good middle class hotel is about $60 each night. You find the cheapest alternatives in Porlamar where the prices are approximately $10 for a double room. This could be of great interest if you are thinking to backpack around the Caribbean Islands.

At the Northwest side of the Isla de Margarita the hotels and the beaches are more secluded which is for better or worse. The German owned all-inclusive hotel Dunes Hotel & Beaches Resort is situated here, which has an impressive pool area.

Also the Spanish owned Hesperia Isla Margarita is situated here which has a huge spa and a 18-hole golf course. At these giant facilities you can without any problems of employment dispossess a 2 week long holiday without even walk through the guarded gates.
